Robert "Bob" Laurence Pratt

            Mr. Robert “Bob” Pratt, age 67 of Patrick Springs, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Sovah Health of Martinsville.  He was born in Milford, CT on November 9, 1951 to the late Roland and Lois Butler Pratt.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Aiden Smith; and a sister, Barbara Ganger.  Bob was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving 2 tours while in the Army. He had enough experiences and adventures in his lifetime to fill 3 other lifetimes. He lived life to the fullest and was always positive and upbeat even in the worst of situations. Bob loved riding Harley's, people watching at Virginia Beach, fishing with his grandkids, and racing. He was a kind, generous, giving man who helped anyone who needed it.

            Surviving are his loving wife and best friend of 45 years, Linda S. Pratt of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Mathew Smith of Patrick Springs; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert “Bob” and Staci Pratt of Madison, NC; three grandchildren, Madison, Kaden, and Emily Pratt; three brothers, Joseph Pratt of Rocky Mt, Ronald Pratt of Stuart, Russell Pratt of Winstead, CT; and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Mark Wright officiating.  Military rites will be provided by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
