Robert Glenn Brindle

Mr. Robert Glenn Brindle, 73, of Dobson, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 23, 2009 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Brendle was born in Surry County on August 30, 1935 to the late Foley and Joanie White Brindle. He was formerly employed by General Motors and of the Baptist faith. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of fourty six years, Mrs. Dorothy Gordon Brindle of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Tammy Brindle of Mount Airy; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jacqueline Dickerson and Rosielee Johnson of Dobson; two brothers, John Brindle of Dobson and Russell Brindle of Mount Morris, Michigan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brindle was preceded in death by two infant brothers and a sister, Delane Graves; and his step-mother Mrs. Ola Mae Callahan Brindle. The will be no formal services at the funeral home. Memorial
