Robert Lee Brooks

Mr. Robert Lee Brooks, age 90, of Dobson, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born September 29, 1930 in Surry County to John Walter and Victoria Hedgecoe Brooks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Mae Hamlin Brooks and his great grandson Kevin Blocker. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Vicky Diane and Ricky Shockley; son, Johnnie Lee Brooks; grandchildren, Raquel Gustafason, Melissa Barbour, Michele Brooks, Stacey Barker, Rhonda Hazelwood, Diana Stakes and Angel Brooks; 14 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in Dobson City Cemetery with Reverend Joe Lambert officiating.  The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 P.M Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the residence (509 East Atkins Street, Dobson NC 27017). In lieu of  flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Brooks Family.
