Robert Clay Draughn

Mr. Robert Clay Draughn, 73, of Siloam passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at his home. He was born in Surry County on July 20, 1948, to the late, Arthur Raymond and Agnes Mae Browder Draughn. Mr. Draughn worked for over 30 years at Montire and then retired from Walmart. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Duncan Draughn; a daughter, Rhonda Mayes; grandchildren, Seth Mayes, Simon Mayes, Sadie Mayes, and Sophie Mayes; a great grandchild, Delilah Mayes; a sister, Glenda Fields; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Draughn was preceded in death by a son, Randy Clay Draughn; sisters, Annie Mae Jones, and Ethel Inman; a brother, Raymond Draughn. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 27, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the Duncan Family Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Crotts and the Rev. Jared Seal officiating.
