Robert Ray Fallin

Mr. Robert Ray "Bobby" Fallin, 74, of 122 McCreary Park Lane, Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008, at Twelve Oaks Rest Home and Alzheimer's Unit. He was born June 4, 1934, in Martinsville, VA, to the late Ernest and Algie Gertrude Freeman Fallin. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and a painting contractor. Surviving are his wife, Annie Spencer Fallin of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Reashea and Donald Montgomery of Conover; a son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Bernadette Hodges of Fancy Gap, VA; four grandchildren, Torie Montgomery, Christopher Montgomery, Laura Suttles, and Bobby Montgomery; two great-grandchildren, Amethyst Montgomery and Coan Suttles; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Judy Fallin of Salisbury; and a niece and husband, Frankie and Dean Hatley of Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fallin was preceded in death by a sister, Treva Mae Beck. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Dean Eaton, and burial will follow in the Midkiff Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
