Robert Ray Fallin

Mr. Robert Ray "Bobby" Fallin age 73 of 122 McCreary Park Lane, Mt. Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Annie Spencer Fallin passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Twelve Oaks Rest Home and Alzheimer's Unit. He was born June 4, 1934 in Martinsville, VA to the late Ernest and Algie Gertrude Freeman Fallin. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was a painting contractor. Surviving are his wife, Annie S. Fallin of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, Reashea and Donald Montgomery, Conover, a son Blake and Bernadette Hodges, Fancy Gap, VA, four grandchildren, Torie Montgomery, Christopher Montgomery, Laura Suttles and Bobby Montgomery, two great-grandchildren, Amethyst Montgomery and Coan Suttles, a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Judy Fallin, Salisbury, NC, a niece and husband, Frankie and Dean Hatley, Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fallin was preceded in death by a sister, Treva Mae Beck. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Dean Eaton. Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200.
