Mr. Robert Lee Felts Age 61 of 637 Sheep Farm Rd. Mt. Airy, NC. husband of Mrs. Marsha A. Felts passed away Sunday August 12, 2007 at the Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mt. Airy. Mr. Felts was born January 18, 1946 in Surry County to the late Harley Franklin and Effie Ola Tickle Felts and was a heavy equipment operator. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Marsha A. Felts of the home, one daughter and son-in-law Brandy and Loyd Johnson of Mt. Airy, one son Jason L. Felts of the home, three sisters and brothers-in-law Betty and Roger Atkins, Katherine Combs and Rachel and Brady Vaughn all of Mt. Airy, three brothers and sister-in-law Wade and Joyce Felts, Dennis Felts and Billy Felts all of Mt. Airy, three sisters-in-law and spouses Debbie and Ricky Simmons of Mt. Airy, Betty and Lawrence Russell of Thurman and Barbara and Dean Bledsoe of Dobson, one brother-in-law and spouse Albert and Connie Anders of Ararat, NC. and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Russell Parson with burial to follow in the Dickens Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night 7 to 9 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. The family would like to give a special thank-you to the Northern Hospital of Surry County Skilled Nursing Unit for all of there love and care given to Robert during his illness.
