Robert Allen Holcomb

Mr. Robert Allen Holcomb, age 78, of Elkin, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at his residence. He was born June 26, 1943 in Forsyth County to the late Spencer Holcomb and the late Vernon Lorraine VanHoy Holcomb. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Martha Stanley Holcomb; sister and brother-in law, Wanda and Richard Byrd; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. Willie and Lib Bryant; niece, Tracy (Ryan) Mayberry; nephew, Ben (Angela) Byrd; caregiver and friend, Karen Holbrook; one great niece and three great nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, September 6, 2021 in the Union Cross Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Willie Bryant, Tony Richardson and Reverend Allen Horton officiating. No formal services will be held at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Holcomb family.
