Robert Jones Lovill, IV

Mr. Robert Jones Lovill, IV, 31, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011, at his home. Mr. Lovill was born May 21, 1979, in Surry County, son of Robert Jones Lovill, III and Elizabeth Johnson Lovill. Robert participated in Boy Scouts of America as a lad and adolescent, later earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Mount Airy High School and attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Mr. Lovill worked alongside his father for several years at Town and Country Realty. He is survived by his parents, Robert Jones Lovill, III and Elizabeth Johnson Lovill of the home; a brother, Allen Johnson Lovill of the home; his maternal grandmother, Paula Scott Johnson of Mount Airy; his paternal grandmother, Esther Lovill of Mount Airy; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Lovill was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wallace Allen "Wally" Johnson, Sr.; and his paternal grandfather, Robert Jones Lovill, Jr. A private graveside service will be conducted at Oakdale Cemetery by the Reverend Raymond J.
