Robert Kyle Parish

Mr. Robert Kyle Parish age 88 of Mount Airy, NC passed away Thursday February 29, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson NC. He was born October 15, 1935, in Carroll County Va to Fred and Bernice Parish. He was proceeded in death by his wife Nancy Parish, his parents Fred and Bernice Parish and sister Lena Fay Willis.

Those left to honor his memory include a sister Alma Hoel two sons Randy his wife Amanda and Andy. Also nieces Jennifer Soughan her husband Daryle; Karen Sheely her husband John; A granddaughter Katie Pierson and husband Jim; two step grandsons Daniel and Eli Harbaugh; great grand daughter Avery Pierson.

He served the Lord as a minister for 50 plus years providing care, comfort and guidance to many members of the church’s he served. He will be missed by many who benefited from his efforts in this role. Beyond his ministry he enjoyed working outdoors and was an avid gardener all this life.

Visitation will be March 9, 2024, from 12:00-2:00pm at Moody Davis Funeral Home with service to follow. Rev. Scott Meadows will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Double Creek Church of Christ Cemetery 674 Double Creek Road Dobson NC. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home Dobson NC or Double Creek Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
