Robert "Junior" Richardson

Mr. Robert “Junior” Richardson, age 80, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living in Mt. Airy. He was born on November 18, 1940 in Surry County to the late Robert Carlyle and Jennie Myrtle Inman Richardson. He was retired from the construction industry. Left to cherish his memories are a son and daughter-in-law, John and Mary Richardson; daughter, Anne Swain; grandchildren, Henry Richardson, Emily Richardson, Courtney Ayscue and her husband Frank, Sydney Galindo and her husband Fernando, Megan Swain; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Cain and Katie Green. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living and Mountain Valley Hospice for the care given to Mr. Richardson. There will be no formal services at the funeral home.
