Robert Alton "Bob" Wilmoth

Mr. Robert Alton "Bob" Wilmoth, age 83, of Elkin, NC went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday April 3, 2013 at UniHealth Post Acute Care in Elkin. He was born in Surry County on February 15, 1930 to the late Howard and Alice Wilkins Wilmoth. A loving father and devoted husband, he was retired from Carolina By-Products and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandchild Russ Edenfield; three brothers Ralph, Clarence, and James Wilmoth; sister Ernestine Seagroves. Surviving are his wife of sixty-five years Mrs. Martha Alma Riggs Wilmoth of the home; five daughters and sons-in- law Wanda and Ronnie Green of Greenville SC, Doris and Mac Outz of Clover, SC, Kathy and Rodney Fountain of Cleveland, NC, Debbie and Steve Brozina of Dobson, NC, Donna and Buddy Davis of Maysville, NC; three sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Renee Wilmoth of Clover, SC, Kenneth and Cindy Wilmoth of Gloucester, VA, Gary and Teresa Wilmoth of Zellwood, Fla.; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister Joyce Wilmoth of Greensboro, NC; three brothers and sisters-in-law Stuart and Quincy Wilmoth of Hubert, NC, Wayne and Libby Wilmoth of Sanford, NC, Francis and Pat Wilmoth of Carthage, NC. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday April 7, 2013 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, NC, with burial to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until time of the service in the chapel.
