Robert Allan Wilson

Mr. Robert Allan Wilson, 56, of Lowgap, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mr. Wilson was born April 22, 1966, in Surry County, to Wilma “Jean” Carroll Wilson and the late John Marshall Wilson.  Robert worked at Pine State Knitwear for many years and was employed at Vitro Glass before his illness.  He was a loving husband, father, papa, and son, who will be dearly missed.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Loretta “Lynn” Beck Wilson; three sons and daughters-in-law, Josh and Megan Wilson, Zach and Anna Wilson, and Jarod and Morgan Wilson; seven grandchildren, Ada Wilson, Tucker Wilson, Carlee Wilson, Anderson “AB” Wilson, Hance Wilson, Clay Wilson, and Lainey Wilson; a sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Darrell Lyon; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Crystal Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.  The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church, with Pastor Scott Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rosenbaum Family House, 30 Family House Drive, Morgantown, WV  26505.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Wilson family.
