Roberta Daisy Harrell

Miss Roberta Daisy Harrell, 85, of Mount Airy, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday January 3, 2022, at Central Continuing Care in Mount Airy. She was born on January 9, 1936, in Surry County to the late Charlie Thomas Harrell and Mamie Lee Slate Harrell. Roberta was filled with a kind and sweet soul and lived a simple happy life with her sister, Margaret, whom they are together again. She is survived by nieces, Bonnie Neely, Patricia France, and Teresa Collins; nephew, Mike Harrell; special great-niece, Tabatha Cox and husband Jeff; several other great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews, Jasmine, Will, and Landon Cox. In addition to her parents, Miss Harrell was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ann Harrell; her brother, Charlie Haywood Harrell; and a nephew Steven Harrell. Graveside services for Roberta will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00AM at Oakdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Continuing Care. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Harrell family.
