Roberta Florence Nixon Spencer

Mrs. Roberta Florence Nixon Spencer age 49 of 117 Full Circle Trail, Mount Airy, wife of Raymond Spencer, passed away Monday, October 23, 2006 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Spencer was born May 10, 1957 in Surry County to Hazel Juanita Mayes Nixon and the late Elmer Lee Nixon. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are her husband, Raymond Spencer of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tina Marie and Starsky Lineberry, Mount Airy and Reena Lynn and Brandon Lee Tolbert, Mount Airy; a son, Jonathan Samuel Spencer, of the home; a grandson, Dustin Lee Tolbert Mount Airy; her mother, Hazel M. Nixon, Mount Airy; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nancy Mae and Coy Edwards, Mount Airy, Janie Lee Brown, Elkin and Mary Ann and Haney Puckett, Lowgap and a brother Charles Lee Nixon, Mount Airy. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Mtn. View Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Russell Parsons and Rev. Butch Holder with burial to follow in the Nixon Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mtn. View Baptist Church on Wednesday night from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
