Rodney Bennett

Mr. Rodney Dean Bennett, 67, of Mt. Airy passed away March 22, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Forsyth County on January 23, 1954 to the late Alva Seldon and Velma Opal Johnson Bennett.  Mr. Bennett retired from Smith Brothers Trucking.  He is survived by a son, Justin Wayne Bennett; a sister, Vicki Diane Lewis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard “Keith” and Terri Bennett, Tracy and Missi Hodges; many nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Indian Grove Family Cemetery.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy is serving the Bennett family.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
