Rodney Hawks

Mr. Rodney Ray Hawks, 52 of Mount Airy passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.  Mr. Hawks was born on April 25, 1969 in Surry County, North Carolina, to Donald Ray and Hallie Golden Hawks.  Rodney was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish is memories is his wife of 15 years, Jessica Odum Hawks; four daughters, Brittany Dawn Hawks, Brooke Adora Gail Hawks, Jedda Rae Hawks, and Janessa LaReign Hawks; one son, Jettlee Don Hawks; three grandchildren, Randy Cole Badgett, Ryan Edward Badgett, and Serenity Grace Chandler Toney; one sister, April Hiatt; his mother, Hallie Golden Hawks Jessup; his mother-in-law, Patsy Odum; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousin; and the special friends within his family; and brothers and sisters-in-law from both marriages.  Mr. Hawks was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Hawks; his grandmother, Dora Hawks; and his father-in-law, Rev.
