Rodney Pedro Penn

          Mr. Rodney Pedro Penn was born January 16, 1976 in Patrick County to the late Lou Della Glenn Smith and George “Buster” Rucker.  He departed this life February 3, 2019 at his home.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Granny, Georgia Anna Glenn Barnwell.

          He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rhonda Helms Penn of the home; three children, Jonavon Dontae Penn of Martinsville, Aniya Denae Penn, Jeremiah Pedro Penn both of Stuart; his momma, Betty Tatum of Stuart; his daddy, Willie Penn of Critz; ten sisters, Rhonda Barbour (Allen Wayne Tatum) of Patrick Springs, Patricia (Quentin) Hargrave of Mt. Airy, NC, Cristy (Jo Jo) Spencer of Patrick Springs, Natasha Rucker of Virginia Beach, Marquita Rucker of Stuart, Evelyn “Tootie” Madison, Sherry Glenn, Victoria Mullins, Valerie Mullins, Vanessa Mullins, all of Stuart; three brothers, David (Anita) Barnwell, Greg (Jennifer) Penn, Kevin Rucker, all of Stuart; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Elder Frank Tatum officiating.  Burial will follow in the Tatum Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  A wake will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
