Roger Coy Anders

Mr. Roger Coy Anders, age 66 of Pilot Mountain, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Hoots Memorial Hospital. Mr. Anders was born December 11, 1940 in Tazewell Co. VA. to the late Cleve and Etta Simmons Anders., he was a self employed carpet layer and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are one son Charles Anders of Tazewell, VA., two grandchildren, three sisters Nora Willard of Mt. Airy, Ruth Overby and Polly Stack both of Winston Salem, two brothers Kyle E. Anders of Greenville, TN. and James Anders of Pilot Mountain and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday April 20, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at New Beginning Baptist Church in Stokes County with services conducted by Rev. Louis Martin with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night 7 to 9 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
