Roger Lee Hall

Mr. Roger Lee Hall, age 79, of Cana Virginia, passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2023, in Winston-Salem, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.  He was born in Carroll County Virginia on March 2, 1944, to the late Sampson Hall and the late Pauline Weddle Hall.  In additions to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Sue Wall Hall; sisters, Edith Smith, Betty Howell, Hallie Bates; brother, Freddy Hall.  He was a retired Orchard Farmer and had a passion for gardening.  Surviving is his sister, Patricia Utt and husband, Randy Utt; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Richardson, Jackie Richardson, and Mae Moorefield; brother-in-law, Johnny Wall; special girls to Roger and Sue, Abigail Moser and Isabelle Moser.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 21, 2023, in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Redeeming Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Steve MaHaffey will officiate the services.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of his service.
