Roger Lee Harrell

Mr. Roger Lee Harrell, 67, of Mt. Airy passed away at his home Thursday, July 9, 2020.  He was born in Surry County, July 31, 1952 to the late Jesse Roscoe and Carrie Bell Culler Harrell.  He was a truck driver for several years prior to opening an Auto Body Repair Shop and ran as long as his health permitted. He was also a member of True Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Roger was a loved man by so many, who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.  He is survived by his children, Joy Marie Jenkins, Roger Lee Harrell, Jr. and fiancé, Cassidy Jonah Stevens, and Mark Brandon Harrell and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Lilee Ray, Bryce, Teague, Levi, Kirkland, and Kealand; his sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Mark Willard; a brother, Jesse Junior Harrell; special friends, Karen Elkhouja, and Pastor Davis Smith.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
