Roger Dale Pack

Mr. Roger Dale Pack, 67, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Pack was born April 24, 1943, in Surry County, to Robie and Lula Mae Hicks Pack. He retired from Cross Creek Apparel and was a member of Mount Bethel Moravian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Farnsworth of Arlington, TX; four grandchildren, Kenneth, Wesley, Austin, and Tyler Farnsworth; and a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Janie Pack of Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pack was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Mary Lucille Montgomery Pack. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Charles Fishel officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
