Roger Lee Puckett

Mr. Roger Lee Puckett, 59, of Ararat, VA passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Forsyth County on September 24, 1956 to Stella Slate Puckett and the late Aubra Edison Puckett. Mr. Puckett was a farmer. He is survived by his mother, Stella Slate Puckett; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Robert Mears; brothers, Robert Puckett, Larry Puckett, and Bennie Puckett; a special nephew, Jeremy Puckett; a special cousin, Lesa Samuels. A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Bowman Puckett Family Cemetery with the Rev. Darren Slate officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
