Romey Gerome Lowe

Mr. Romey Gerome Lowe Age 90 of 371 N. Wilson Rd. Lowgap, NC. Passed away Thursday September 1, 2011 at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Lowe was born May 12, 1921 in Surry County to the late Lee Alexander and Cora Lee Wilson Lowe, he was a well known sawmiller and farmer. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law Carlie and Betty Lowe of Lowgap and Ottis and Marsha Lowe of Mt. Airy, four grandchildren and spouses Richard and Shelley Lowe of Mt. Airy, Bryan and Teresa Lowe of Dublin, OH., Tammy and Gary Adams of Cana and Junior and Terri Lowe of Lowgap, four great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Faye Lowe, two sisters Berthie Evans and Sini Galyean and by two brothers Fred Lowe and Sanders Lowe. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Joe Atkins with burial to follow in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday for 10:00 AM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home.
