Ronald Lee Haymore

Mr. Ronald Lee Haymore, 79, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta.  Mr. Haymore was born October 22, 1940, in Surry County, to the late Charlie and Emma Shelton Haymore.  Ronald retired from the City of Mount Airy, where he worked in the water department.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Wilma Gail Haymore; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy and Brenda Haymore and Keith Haymore; and three grandchildren, Yvonne Byrd, Tabitha Haymore, and Timothy Haymore.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Haymore was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.  A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Randy Edwards officiating.  The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy on Sunday from 12:30 PM until the time to depart for the service.
