Ronald Wayne Hudson

Mr. Ronald Wayne Hudson, age 58, of King, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mr. Hudson was born in Surry County on February 7, 1960, to the late Tommy and Helen Tucker Hudson.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, a dear brother, and was the previous owner of Sheltontown Grocery where he made many lasting friends.  He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.  Among the many who will always cherish his memory is his wife, Kim Kirkman Hudson; a daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Nathaniel Jessup; a son and daughter-in-law, Travis Hudson and Valerie Apple; a precious granddaughter, Salem Grey Jessup; a sister, Tammy Hudson; a niece, Greta East; and special friends, Alden Nunn and Mark King.  Funeral services will be held at Moody Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 23, 2018 by Rev. Rusty Reed.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
