Ronald Ervin Williams

Mr. Ronald Ervin “Rocky” Williams, 54, of Mount Airy, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at his home.  Mr. Williams was born November 1, 1964, in Surry County, the son of the late Clarence Ervin and Anice Ruth Hensley Williams.  Rocky retired from the City of Mount Airy after many years of service.  He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Steve Greer of Patrick Springs, VA; and a brother, Travis Williams of Mount Airy.  The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Dr. David Sparks officiating.  Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
