Ronnie Lynn Creed

Mr. Ronnie Lynn Creed, 59, of 166 West Dodson Mill Road, Pilot Mountain, passed away Wednesday night, October 3, 2012, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Creed was born September 27, 1953, in Surry County, to Kenneth Lester Creed and the late Bessie Marie Rogers Creed. Lynn was formerly employed at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and a member of Beulahland Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Debra "Debbie" Collins Creed of the home; a daughter, Stacy Marie Creed of the home; two sons, Ronnie Lynn Creed II and Tyler Ryan Creed; his father and stepmother, Kenneth Lester and Carol Cox Creed of Siloam; a sister, Wanda Creed Hall of King; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Kathy Creed and Kenny and Connie Creed, all of Siloam; several nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law and his wife, Jim and Sandra Collins of Pilot Mountain; and many special friends. In addition to his mother, Mr. Creed was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Perry Creed. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Beulahland Baptist Church, with the Rev. Anthony Gordy and Elder Vance Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Beulahland Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beulahland Baptist Church, 3187 Old US 52 South, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
