Ronnie Lee Johnson, Jr

Mr. Ronnie Lee Johnson, Jr., 46, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016, at his home. Mr. Johnson was born April 28, 1970, in Surry County, to Judy Lineback Johnson and the late Ronnie Lee Johnson, Sr. He was a welder and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Denise Harrell Johnson; two sons, Adam Johnson and Joshua Johnson; his mother, Judy Lineback Johnson Lawson and her boyfriend, Clyde Conners; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Stormy Johnson, Jeff and Susie Johnson, and Chad and Tennille Johnson; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Vickie and Dan Sykes. In addition to his father, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Johnathan Johnson. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 7:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Pastor Randall Smith and the Rev. Eugene Brinkley officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home, and other times at the home of his mother.
