Ronnie Franklin Simpson

Mr. Ronnie Franklin Simpson, Jr., 37, of 500 Turret Court, Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away Friday morning, November 13, 2009, at his home. He was born April 4, 1972, in Germany, to Ronnie Franklin Simpson, Sr. and Sarah Cox Simpson. He was self-employed and a graduate of University of North Carolina with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a member of the Grand Strand Church of Christ in Myrtle Beach, SC. Surviving are his wife, Amy Patricia Herald Simpson of the home; two daughters, Kayla Simpson of Pilot Mountain and Caroline Simpson of the home; his parents, Ronnie Franklin Simpson, Sr. and Sarah Cox Simpson of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Brad Casstevens of Yadkinville; a honorary grandmother, Myrtle Wagoner of Mount Airy; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Herald of Chapmanville, WV. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rhoten and Mabel Easter Cox and the Rev. Chester F. and Irene D. Simpson. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 16, 2009, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Rusty Reed and Minister Jay Thornell officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
