Ronnie Thomas

Ronnie Allen Thomas, 69, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday morning April 19, 2021. A native of Chesterland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Marvin and Pauline Thomas.  Ronnie was an US Air Force Veteran and a member of American Legion Post 108 in Franklin, NC. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed learning and reading about history. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother; Jeffrey Thomas and by his furbaby Sophie. He is survived by his wife of 14 years Sandra Thomas Sons; Matthew Thomas and Gary Thomas both of Mt Airy, NC Daughters; Rebecca Thomas of Appomattox, VA and Amy Harrell of Stuart, VA 2 Brothers; Jim (Judy) Thomas of Bethania, NC, and Bryan Thomas of Mt Airy, NC Sister- Connie Wallace of Mt Airy, NC  Furbaby, Maggie A memorial service will be held at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at Moody's one hour prior to the service.   Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Shriners Children’s Fund.  To send flowers to Ronnie's family, please visit our floral store.
