Mrs. Rose Janie Crespo Marks, age 80, of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Surry Community HR in Mt. Airy.  She was born on June 24, 1938 in Key West, Florida, to the late Ceceilo Crespo and Milagro Esteves Crespo.  Mrs. Marks was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.  Surviving are her husband, Joseph Peter Marks; daughter, Genie Young; sons, Robert Marks, Michael Marks, Joseph Marks, Jr.; and grandchild, Stephanie-Rose Huckabee.  Funeral services will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home , burial will take place in the Dobson City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Marks family.
