Mrs. Rosie Bell Richardson Quesinberry, 95, of 213 Crestview Street, Mount Airy, widow of Lawrence Andrew Quesinberry, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Quesinberry was born September 3, 1911, in Carroll County, VA, to the late James Richardson and Lucinda Leftwich Richardson. She was employed at Boyles Shoes for many years. Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sharlene Quesinberry of Mount Airy and Rossie Ray Quesinberry of the home; four grandchildren, Jimmy Vipperman and wife, Cindy, of Lowgap, Alisha Hiatt and husband, Stewart, of Mount Airy, the Rev. Jimmy Quesinberry, Jr. and wife, Alisa, of Marshville, and Karen Dollyhigh of Mount Airy; and five great-grandchildren, Hannah Dollyhigh, Logan Quesinberry, Allison Quesinberry, Ryan Quesinberry, and Jacob Hiatt. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Quesinberry was preceded in death by a daughter, Flossie Vipperman; two sisters, Ellen Johnson and Sarah Dowell; and five brothers, Fulton Richardson, Houston Richardson, Robert Richardson, John Richardson, and Howard Richardson. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Wallace Cole and the Rev. Oscar Hill. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
