Roslyn Lee Reeves

Mrs. Roslyn Reeves, 65, of Mount Airy, passed away, Saturday, September 19, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Reeves was born on October 13, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late John Ernest and Marion Louise Ross Heald.  Mrs. Reeves was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her and will be deeply missed.  Roslyn loved all people and never met a stranger.  She was an avid horse lover and rider for many years.  Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons-in-law, Louisa and Jerry Bennett, Jamie and Allen King; grandchildren, Brian Bennett, John Bennett, Franklin Bennett, Hunter Largen, Ryan King, Austin King, Alex King; great-grandchildren, Braison King and Shaylee King.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Heald Cox.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jonathan Casstevens officiating.  Friends and family wishing to pay their respects may do so one hour prior to the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, 27030.
