Roxie "Allison" Chilton McMillian

Mrs. Roxie Allison Chilton McMillian, 64, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 9, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital. Mrs. McMillian was born September 14, 1957, in Stokes County, to Roland Lee and Roxie Alice O’Neal Chilton. Allison was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memoires are her husband, David McMillian; her daughters and sons-in-law, Stacey and Nathan Gunter, Cindy and Dennis George, Kayla McMillian, Angel McMillian, Kimberly McMillian, and Brianna McMillian; her sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew McMillian, Samuel and Autumn McMillian, and Thomas McMillian; her grandchildren, Kobe McMillian, Korbin McMillian, Noah Gunter, Nolan Gunter, Brady George, Brandon and MaryBeth Marsh, Levi McMillian, Hunter George, Brittany George, and Kaylee Johnson; her great-grandchild, Kaden Marsh; her father and stepmother, Roland Lee and Imogene Chilton; a brother-in-law, Mike Butler; her nieces, Allison Bagley and Mandy Chilton Rollans; and her nephews, Morgan Butler and Daniel Chilton. Mrs. McMillian was preceded in death by a son, David Anthony “Bumper” McMillian; her mother, Roxie Alice O’Neal Chilton; a sister, Fonda Chilton Butler; and a brother, Roland Christopher “Chris” Chilton. No formal service will be held at this time. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 2:00 until 3:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
