Roxie Alene Snow

Mrs. Roxie Alene Snow, 95 of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023.  She was born in Surry County, January 14, 1928, to the late John Harrison and Hattie Sutphin Smith.  Mrs. Snow was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  Mrs. Snow loved to play Bingo at home with her family.  Mrs. Snow worked at for several years at Quality Mills before retirement.  Mrs. Snow was a woman of strong faith and attended Bottom Road Tabernacle.  Mrs. Snow will be lovingly remembered by her daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Kay Tate, Bonnie Sue Jessup and Grady; and son, Steven Craig Snow; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a special caregiver, Irene Mabe.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her six brothers, Fred H. Smith, Emmett E. Smith, Clyde J. Smith, Guy G. Smith, W.
