Roy Junior Clodfelter

In loving memory of Mr. Roy Junior Clodfelter age 80 of 154 Sycamore Drive, Mt. Airy, NC, husband of 51 years of Mrs. Verna Bullins Clodfelter passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born February 6, 1931 in Guilford County to the late Ed and Carrie Carter Clodfelter. He was retired from the construction business and was a member of East Side Baptist. Surviving are his wife, Verna Bullins Clodfelter of the home, a daughter, Tammy Clodfelter Smith, Mt. Airy, five sons and three daughter-in-laws, Melvin and Lynn Clodfelter, Mt. Airy, Richard and Loretta Clodfelter, Hillsville, VA, Michael and Mellnee Clodfelter, Mt. Airy, Jeffrey Clodfelter, Bladenboro, NC and Randy Clodfelter, W. VA, nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a half brother, George Henshaw, Asheboro, and special friends, David and Jessie Bowman, Mt. Airy, . Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Lonnie Gunter and Rev. John Tolliver. Burial will follow in Peoples Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at Moody Funeral Home.
