Ruby Lenee Brooks

Mrs. Ruby Lenee Davis Brooks, 65, of Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy. She was born in Surry County on October 23, 1955, to the late, Carl Junior Davis and Hattie Hiatt Davis Johnson. Mrs. Brooks was a loving homemaker who will be dearly missed. She is survived by a son, Daniel East, Jr.; daughter, Priscilla East; grandchildren, Kayla East, and Summer Jackson; sisters, and brother-in-law, Linda and Johnny Jarrell, Judy Sloan, and Betty Dudley; a brother, Lewis Davis; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by sisters, Lottie Hickson, Sylvia Smith, and Brenda Moore. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
