Ruby Marie Wilson

Mrs. Ruby Marie Hunter Wilson, 89, of Siloam, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019, at Central Continuing Care in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Wilson was born December 20, 1929, in Surry County, to the late T.L. and Murphy Jane Jessup Hunter.  She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Rex and Helen Hunter and Tommy Wilson; a grandchild, Bridgette Watkins; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Shelby Ferguson; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Gay Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Woodrow Wilson; a sister, Hallie Hooker; and four brothers, Dillard Hunter, Charlie Hunter, Elmer Hunter, and Aldie Hunter.  The funeral service will be held Monday, November 11, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Stewart R. Mauck and David Hawkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
