Russell Hamilton Meyer

Mr. Russell Hamilton Meyer, age 54 of Stuart passed away Monday January 30, 2011 at Pioneer Community Hospital of Patrick County. He was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 19, 1957 to Russell Meyer and the late Barbara Grant Meyer. Mr. Meyer faithfully served his country as a captain in the Marine Corp. He was a wonderful cook, funny, witty and just a great guy.
Mr. Meyer is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ferida Michelle Cralle and husband, Joseph of Stafford, VA and Lara Danielle Meyer, who is serving her country in Afghanistan; his father and step-mother, Dr. Russell Meyer, Capt. USN Ret. and wife, Donna of Stuart; a sister, Manya Meyer of Vineland, New Jersey; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Harrison Meyer of Virginia Beach, VA and Jesse Meyer and wife, Jillian of Suffolk, VA; a step-brother, Allen Touchstone of Ft. Benning, Georgia and a step-sister, Aubree Touchstone of Stuart.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart. The Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard will hold a flag presentation program at 6:30pm Saturday evening.
