Ruth Ann Glass Busick

Mrs. Ruth Ann Glass Busick, 67, of 149 Shady Acres Drive, Cana, VA, passed away Friday afternoon, March 9, 2012, at her home. Mrs. Busick was born October 4, 1944, in Hidalgo County, TX, to Ruth Edwards Glass and the late Willie Glass. She was formerly employed at Mount Airy Glass Company in Mount Airy. She is survived by her husband, Carl Sidney Busick of the home; her mother, Ruth Edwards Glass of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Roy Mayes of Cana, VA; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bill and Betty Glass of Cana, VA, and Paul "P.D." Glass of Mount Airy; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 12, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Flat Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. Dennis Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
