Ruth Beasley Huff

Mrs. Ruth Beasley Huff, age 84, of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy.  She was born June 22, 1936, in Stuart, VA, to the late Ellis and Lillie Beasley.  Mrs. Huff was a full-time associate clerk of Wal-Mart.  Prior to that she retired from Henredon Furniture.  She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, where she was a charter member.  Ruth loved her family, Lord and her church family.  Left to cherish her memories are sons and daughters-in-law, Wade and Debbie Hill, Dean Huff, Vickie Huff; grandchildren, Kevin Hill, Sara Mayes, Austin Huff, Nick Huff, Holden Huff; great-grandchildren, Hunter Hill, Madison Hill, Savannah Mayes, Elijah Huff, Grace Huff; step-great-grandchildren, Mason Jester, Taylor Jester.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Huff; and brothers, H.C. Beasley and Ray Von Beasley and a very special friend, Dean Browder.  A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Zane Fishel officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  The family requests no flowers, instead make donations to the Temple Baptist Church Youth Group in Ruth’s memory.  Her sons would like to say a special thanks to Debbie, Vickie, Lou Sapp for all the love and care given to their mother.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com
