Mrs. Ruth Marie Allen Trivett, 48, of 3553 Keno Road, Laurel Fork, VA, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008, at Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mount Airy, NC. Mrs. Trivett was born December 16, 1959, in Rockingham County, NC, to Roy Lee Allen and the late Sarah Lawson Allen Billings. She was a retired clerk from the United States Postal Service in Stuart, VA, and was a member of Mount Ararat Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ararat, VA. She is survived by her husband, George Anthony Trivett of the home; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth Lawrence Church, Jr. and Kristie Church of Reidsville, NC, Gary Church of Charlotte, NC, and Scotty Church of Raleigh, NC; six grandchildren; her father and stepmother, Roy Lee and Virginia Allen of Reidsville, NC; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Amy Allen and James and Lori Allen, all of Reidsville, NC; a stepsister, Phyllis Windfield of Eden, NC; a stepbrother, Phillip Toler of High Point, NC; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marlin and Penny King Dalton of Ararat, VA. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008, at 7:00 PM at Mount Ararat Pentecostal Holiness Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Rickey Rogers and the Rev. Kelly Giese. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the church.
