Ruth Carol Vipperman

Mrs. Ruth Carol Vipperman, 76, of Westfield, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at LifeBrite Community Hospital of Stokes.  She was born in Stokes County on February 1, 1942 to the late Arlis Wendell and Pauline Cook Vipperman.  Mrs. Vipperman retired from the W/S Journal after 25 years of employment.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Angel and Arron Moser; grandchildren, Justin Cox, and Kamryn Cox; step grandchildren, Brandon Moser, and Sierra Moser; step great grandchildren, Jaelyn, and Serenity; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Rayford Gammons; brothers and sister-in-law, Teddy Vipperman, Kelly and Becky Vipperman; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Vipperman was preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis Clement, Faye Holyfield, and Tillis Vipperman; a brother, Oza Vipperman.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Asbury Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Barry Clement officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Asbury Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
