Sadie Ina Snow Thomas

Mrs. Sadie Ina Snow Thomas, 77, of 117 Kimberly Street, Mount Airy, widow of Will Thomas, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Thomas was born December 29, 1929, in Forsyth County, daughter of the late Earl and Pearl Moore Snow. She was a member of Mount Bethel Moravian Church and retired from Bassett Furniture. She is survived by two sons, Clarence Thomas of Barium Springs, VA, and Eddie Thomas of Mount Airy; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Loretta Bonds of Fries, VA, Roberta Goad of Galax, VA, and Vonita and Dee Gwyn of Jacksonville, FL. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Gale Thomas; a grandson; two sisters, Addie Goad and Gertrude Barr; and three brothers, Sterling Snow, Virgil Snow and Junior Snow. The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2007, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Chuck Harmon, and burial will follow at Mount Bethel Moravian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
