Sally Ann Hand

Mrs. Sally Ann Hand, age 62, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday the 27th day of February 2019 at her home. She was born in Waynesburg, PA on December 22nd, 1956 to John and Rosalie Mitchell. She graduated from West Greene High School in Waynesburg, PA.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and niece who will be dearly missed. Among those who will deeply miss her are her husband of twenty-five years Kevin Hand, daughter Erika Hand Ashley (w/Zack), son Harry Johnson III, parents John and Rosalie, sister Holly Brown, brother David Brown, grandchildren Revin and Rayne Johnson, her cherished Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.

She will also be missed by her extended family. Mother-in-law Sally Ann Letray Hand, bothers-in-law Bill Hand (w/Amy) and Robb Hand (w/Lisa), sister-in-law Joy Scot (w/Lee) and many nieces and nephews. And her amazing friends she gathered through the years.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life gathering in the future in lieu of a memorial service at Sally’s request. From her love of helping less fortunate animals, Sally requested donations or memorials be made to your local Animal Rescue Shelter.

Sally is blessed to be with Jesus and no longer in pain. Her body is whole as she passes over the Rainbow Bridge greeted by her beloved fur babies, and relatives who have crossed before her. Sally we love you and will cherish every memory we have of you and the short time we spent with you. My lovely wife, you are in God’s hands now. Let the Dragonflies and Pennies from Heaven flow. Amen.
