Samuel Solomon Cochran

Mr. Samuel Solomon Cochran, age 22, of Mount Airy, passed away at his home on July 27, 2020.  He was born in Surry County on January 12, 1998 to Nancy Linville and Samuel Theodore Cochran.  He was a loving son, grandson, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed.  Samuel was a caring, loyal , compassionate young man, living on the motto, “Do unto to others as you would have them do unto to yourself.”  Spending time with family and friends was the utmost importance to him.  His interests were auto body mechanics, ministering to others and he had a love for nature.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Cochran is survived by his sister, Sathena Cochran; two brothers, Justice Cochran and Kolaiah Linville; his maternal grandparents, Leroy Linville and Mary Edwards; his paternal grandmother, Hazel Cochran; a special uncle, Gary Linville; special cousin, Summer Marie Hensley; special nephew, Christopher Te’Von Hatcher; a special fur baby, Rose; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins spanning from North Carolina to Ohio.  Mr. Cochran was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Conlon; and by his paternal grandfather, William Cochran.  A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Trinity Fellowship Church, 689 Pipers Gap Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030.  Services will be conducted by Brother Gary Storms and Brother Jerry Brannock.  Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is assisting the Cochran family.
