Samuel Richard Loggins

Mr. Samuel Richard Loggins, age 65, of Piney Creek, a Christian cowboy to all, enjoyed his final ride as he peacefully entered Heaven on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson surrounded by his family. He was born November 6, 1954 in Piney Creek to the late Sam and Edna Loggins. Mr. Loggins was self-employed in the construction business, a member of Baker’s Ridge Mission Church and an avid horseman. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Brannock Loggins; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Sheryl Loggins; step son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sara Brannock, and step daughters and sons-in-law, Sheena and Justin Hopkins, Julie and Tony Davis; grandchildren, Kaylee and Evan Atwood, Kasidy Loggins, Leeann Brannock, Zechariah Davis and Riley Brannock; sister and brother-in-law, Francis and Denny Pruitt; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Debbie Loggins; and several nieces and nephews along with a special family friend, Jaysana and her daughter, Miranda. Visitation will be Monday, November 11, 2019, from 12-1 PM at Bakers Ridge Mission Church. The service will follow at 1:00 PM in the church with Reverend Ricky Miller, Reverend Roger Peaks, and Reverend Spencer Roark officiating. Burial will follow in Sam Loggins Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bakers Ridge Mission Church, C/O Francis Pruitt, 2081 Bakers Ridge Road, Piney Creek, NC 28663.
