Samuel Kenneth Moxley

Mr. Samuel Kenneth Moxley, age 71, passed away Friday morning September 20, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Moxley was born September 13, 1953, in Grayson County, Virginia, to the late Walter Moxley and Ruth Caudle Moxley. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, he’ll be deeply missed. He was a career truck driver for over 50 years until his retirement. Mr. Moxley is survived by his loving wife of the home, Shirley Smith Moxley; daughter, Michelle Wright, Tabatha Smith and partner Joey Bennett; sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Moxley, Robert Smith and Jaime; eight wonderful grandchildren; seven adored great grandchildren; brother, Rex Moxley; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moxley was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery Moxley, Michael Joe Moxley; brothers, Robert Moxley, Scott Moxley, Keith Moxley. The family will hold a celebration of Mr. Moxley’s life at a later date. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Moxley family.
