Sandra Kay (Tilley) Bledsoe

Mrs. Sandra Kay Tilley Bledsoe, age 75 of Ararat, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Bledsoe was born in Surry County on December 13, 1948, to the late Arthur Jaye and Nellie Inman Tilley. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ, and she loved her family dearly. Mrs. Bledsoe enjoyed cooking everyone’s favorite dishes as well as making special blankets and quilts. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Surviving is her husband of 56 years, Ronnie Roger Bledsoe; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Kay Jackson and Robbie; a son, Ronnie Todd Bledsoe and girlfriend Traci; three grandchildren and their spouses, Whitney Jade Long and Jake, Chelsey Amber Reeves and Tanner, Carly Renae Jackson; a great-grandchild, Harper Monroe Long; one brother and sister-in-law, Tony Ray Tilley and Vickie; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bledsoe was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Jaye Tilley. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Level Cross United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Mickey Brooks officiating. No formal visitation will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Airy Dialysis Center, 1280 Newsome Street, Mount Airy, North Carolina 27030. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
